How would it not be worth the money? It's less stuff to stress the crank?

            Whats the point?

There's a reason why I deleted my ac compressor.

You could gain more hp by turning off your radio then this kit.

I'm pretty sure no one cares man... I'd like to see this available for our cars. The more parts available, the better.

i wouldn't want to run the risk of the electric water pump not turning on or a short causing over heating b/c i was worried about maybe 1-3 whp

reminds me of old cadillac's with electric brake assist, blow a fuse + no power brakes= front end collision (happened to my friends mom)

not the best idea in my books

the AC compressor wheel has a clutch built into it so when you give it gas is does not create drag unless the compressor is on.

yes there may be a very small amount of parasitic loss but almost negligent when off.

you essentially just saved some weight

Yea man, really only good for a drag racing application. Even then, I believe Bisi uses a standard water pump on his drag cars.

I wouldn't trust a electric water pump, ever. Chance of failure is way too high compared to a mechanical WP.

                        on a k yea

shit while ur at it, take the belt of the alternator, then whenever u finish racing put it back on

when it comes to racing, the least the better
but if you happen to drive your car more than 3 times a week, why bother?

electric water pump light crank pulley, no alt, no accesories, bolt holes that aint needed can be grounded off etc

as far as the electric WP, i would only see this in a f20/22c and k series being that both motors are chain driven thus removing rotational components powered by the crank. On a b/h/f is useless, the damn timing cover is in the way, and not only that, shorter timing belt, custom tbelt tensioner

also for a electric WP to be sold by CHASE, must be pretty good, the guy has a reputation, so he gets my vote

and for those who woundnt trust an electric WP, stop being such **ssies
wouldnt it be easier to change the electric one rather than a mechanical one?
what if the engine over heats? well the first time that it does, the first thing im checking is the pump, case solved

Well I would rather prevent the engine overheating because of the pump. OEM mechanical pump is cheap.

Sounds like you care? I mean you took time to reply. I dunno. Useful parts yeah. Like PR said, cause we aren't chain driven, pretty pointless.
