It's been awhile since I did this swap..., but I didn't do the iab add-on, I just hooked it up to a vacuum line. It works fine, rev it up and you can watch the port lever move.

You have the ECU to run the IAB... why not just wire it up properly?

i dont have the female end of the plug, i dont know how else to connect it right..

there is white plug on the back of the runner opposite side of throttle body just below the iab plate.. do you know what that is for and if it needs to be there for my setup?

oh deev man i checked all my mail settings and should be getting email when people respond to my posts but im not i checked the spam folder and even added the site to my good list but still nothing.. have any clue why im not getting them?

Because it uses a lot of bandwidth to send emails every time someone replies to a thread... and that costs me a lot of money.

I suggest getting the proper plug and wiring it correctly. Believe it or not, it's easier to take a few extra steps to do it properly than it is to halfass it and have to deal with any problems that arise because of it.

i agree but where the hell am i going to find a plug? preludes are completely nonexistent in the junk yards around here they never last more then a day.. and forget my local honda dealer that ass that runs the parts dept doesnt even want to help me find parts for a car this old, he gives me an attitude about it every time i go in there.. i dont take to that very well i have already been escorted out of there once because he wouldnt listen to me about the dizzy o-ring..

Just wire it up or at least plug in the vac. These cars fall on there face with out them, trust me I tried just to see. I actually did all possible setups. Stock is really good but I prefer the vac hook iabs, feels peppier.

I just hooked it up to Vac, feels fine. Never bothered to wire up the IAB's. I was running an A1 cam with an H23 IM, was a bit slower at low RPM's, the cam upgrade really improved pickup.

stock=iabs hooked to the ecu, in my opinion (never timed it) iabs hooked straight to vac is better. It just pulled a little better.
