I have an MPI immobilizer, viper alarm ( that is not connected to the immob. Immob does turn off. Gonna go back to the car in an hour or so, any suggestions on what to try??

So, I went back to the car, brought all my tools. DIdnt need them. I started it up with the first turn of my key. I brought it straight home so i can work on it.
As soon as i got it home, i turned it off, and tried to start it back up, and no go. So, what do you guys think?
No worries anymore. bushings in the starter are fried. not contacting anymore, so its causing no start. Thanks anyways.Last edited by js593; 01-09-2011, 04:08 PM.90 Accord EX F22a1 Auto R.I.P.

The armature(sp?) in the starter is apparantly getting stuck. Ive been told to tear it down and try to just find the armature assembly. we've got a local that may have a few new ones. cheaper then 200 bucks for a new starter (not remanned, i will not buy a re-manned starter unless its an ACdelco, and we dont have stock on it.90 Accord EX F22a1 Auto R.I.P.

So its happened again. the car went to work easily, got to work, and wouldnt start again.
When i went for lunch, the key wouldnt turn over, Yes the steering wheel was moved a bit to *unlock* the steering column. for some reason, the key just wouldnt turn. I could only immagine its a lock cylinder issue, as well as a switch problem. Once i jammed it in and out 20 -30 times, it finally turned over, and started. When i got back, it did the exact same issue. key wouldnt turn over. So i waited a while, went back out, pulled it in and out 5 times, and turned it, wouldnt start, did it again (pulled out keys and put back in) turned it over and it started.
What do you guys think?90 Accord EX F22a1 Auto R.I.P.

Update - Lock cylinder had no lurbication. Hit it with some WD, till i could get some silicone spray in there, works fine. Me and dad are going to test voltage going to the starter, see if it gets anything when i turn over the key.90 Accord EX F22a1 Auto R.I.P.
