wow bro. and as for hasport, I'm sure they'll help you out. I have never bought anything from them before, but I do know that they are good people. sucks to hear about your outcome though. my advice, get a refund, and stick with ESP and contact them if they can make a softer bushing.

well I'm going back on Wed. and dropping my car off. Brian (mount guy) is gonna fabricate a trans mount and fit it to the car, and THEN hopefully market a complete kit for auto to 5spd equipped H22 CB7s.

yeah I ended up swapping the ESP tranny mount back in and everything was correct again. Turns out they gave me a prelude mount (BB chassis), thinking it would work. Which it didn't at all. The crank pulley looks beat up on the edge, its lost its outer rib, but the power steering belt and ribbed section looks unharmed. Keith's going to give me a new H22 crank pulley, he said he's got a couple lying around so thats good.

it was 2 am, and I had just spent 10 hrs trying to make the mounts work. Idk. I can't exactly see down there from up top unless I actually look down...I was too focused on getting the mounts to bolt up and the bolts to slide in the brackets.

Oh yeah they're going to make right on this. The very next morning I got an email from Keith apologizing about my troubles. He was very cooperative and is going to fix the situation for me.

I already tried asking John @ ESP if they made a softer urethane, but they only stock the 70a inserts. Hasport has the 62a, which when compared side by side is A LOT softer than the 70. They also have 4 different grades of inserts as well, 62a, 70a, 88a, and I think 94a. So there's always an option later on to go stiffer

After spending ALL DAY (10 hrs) trying to get this mount kit installed, when I finally did, and go to start my car. I IMMEDIATELY hear metal to metal grinding....went to inspect it and my crank pulley is grinding against the side of the car. It was so bad, that the engine killed itself.

I'm so pissed. so exhausted. Sick of this shit not working. I think the main problem is the transmission mount. It looks COMPLETELY wrong. Its getting squashed towards the driverside of the car and isn't centered.

i want to tell you so bad, I TOLD YOUUUU
but....... either way IT is the tranny mount, any one that has done a auto to 5speed swap, using the stock prelude mount can tell you this
the reason your crank pulley is rubbing against the frame is because you are using a prelude crank pulley, if accord was used, that would have taken care of the rubbing

BUT.......... that mount tilts the tranny so much, you would pop an axle
so thats a no no for the mount, the only way you can get that mount to work is by cutting and welding the the prelude part of the mount

if your problem was vibrattion, you should have swapped the back mount only for the 62a one
either way if hasport is willing to make you one, that would be awsome
it would look like the esp one though

yeah, I didn't know what you mean by tilting the tranny. Its all good though. Hasport bought my ESP mounts for the same price as I got theirs for, so I basically traded for Hasport mounts...it'll be a couple months before they design a Trans mount though. They borrowed my car and took measurements using the CMM probe device. But in the meanwhile I'll have to rock 2 hasports and one esp.

Any updates? I am planning on buying their side and rear mount. I wish they made a tranny mount, and maybe after they resolve this, they'll offer a tranny mount for the Accord.

                Let me knows what happening.

so far nothing....its like they've dropped off the face of the planet. I dropped the car off, they said they'd take measurements, got my car back the next day and then not an update since. That was Christmas 10'.

Their other mounts are holding up just find however. I'll shoot them an email during spring break from college and see whats up.

Are you running two Hasport mounts and two ESP mounts? If so, how's the ride?

It's so hard to decide which route to go with my mounts. I know ESP is around (and I've read tons of good reviews), but I don't think I need super stiff mounts like the ESP ones (not knocking ESP by no means). I also see that there are Innovative Mounts, and of course the Hasport mounts (only two though). I want the Hasport ones (probably gonna get them anyway), but I'm not sure what to do about the dog bone and tranny mount. Any ideas?

I've got 2 Hasport currently (engine and rear) and one ESP (trans...auto to 5spd one) and I'm using the factory dogbone one in front w/ an energy insert. It holds the engine nicely, absolutely no torquing whatsoever even when I powershift it.

But the vibrations are still there so I don't think going from a 70a ESP insert to a 62a Hasport insert helped...especially since the Hasport mounts were such a tight fit.

maybe they should just order ESP mounts and rip the design.
I don't mind ESP mounts on my non-DD.
but on my DD I def want softer.

No all you really have to do is undo the top bolt slide the top of the mount forward and slide the inserts into the mount
