One brake light staying on after h22 swap

Alright so I just finished my h22/m2b4 swap. I did the auto to manual swap and followed cpmike's steps for the wiring. My problem is, if the battery is hooked up, one brake light stays on.

Before the swap my passenger side brake light was out and the upper brake light was out. The only one that worked was the drivers side and thats the one that is staying on all the time now. Any ideas?

correction and bump. all brake lights are staying on 100% of the time. not the brake light switch. im stumped

iirc, the brake lights are wired with a common positive, with a switch on the neg side. my best guess is someone was playing around with the wiring, and grounded the switch side of the brake lights.
