so i have this problem

So I just realized tonight my headlights, gauge cluster,and dash blink every time I hit the brake when driving. Is this a problem if so how do I fix it

yes it's a problem. That's not normal, so it's mostly bad.

Sounds like a short somewhere, start tracing wires and looking for loose plugs/grounds etc.

Check all of your grounds the one on the altenator,chasis battery. It could also be a sign of your battery going bad or your altenator its only a matter of time.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with your thread...I would start looking at the brake switch. It is directly above the brake pedal and has a pinswitch that contacts the brake pedal lever. In our cars, the Red wire with Black stripe is the illumination wire. That is probly gonna be the wire you wanna trace. Wish I could help more, but definately sounds like a short to me. Good luck!
