    Throttle Cable Problems

Yea. Fucked my car up yesterday. was flyin through first gear, shifted into 2nd and then all of a sudden i had no throttle. so today i replaced the throttle cable (guy gave me a deal for 20 bucks) and it works fine. i just noticed that the throttle cable has a little slack around the part where it attaches to the intake manifold. is this normal? how could i fix it?

There's two nuts that clamp onto a slider/holder piece that comes off the manifold. Just loosen, slide tight, and re-tighten it.
