    Electrical Problem.

Started with my cd player turning off and back on.

Then my Speedometer along with RPM dropping and jumping(Thought it was Speedsensor)

Then My car dying and having to pop the clutch to make it run. None of my electrical stuff was working.

Checked the alternator was only holding like 5-10vs. Bought a new one charged my bat.

Started all over. Battery is just dying.

Is it my battery or something else?

    Grounds.

Check them, clean them and/or upgrade them.

Many threads about them, try the magical search function!

      Thanks boss!

I tried looking around(got a lot of wire tuck stuff)

Any chance you could just hint to me what ground could possibly do this?

maybe a bad ignition, when I was working at Beavers Honda salvage we sold alot of window regulators and ignitions for the CB7 chassis

I'd look mainly at the larger gauge grounds; anyplace there's a corroded or bad connection in the ground side can cause bizarre electrical problems. Check at the battery, follow that cable, check your engine to chassis ground cable, basically anything that looks like it's bolted directly to the car or chassis

It could, but I'd look for the easiest fixes first.

You have a loose connection at the wiring harness. Pull your HU and check behind the dash.

My grounds look normal...Pulled the positive post off the battery and the car kinda slowed down but was running normal. So i dont think its the new alternator.

Other than the grounds what else could it be. Could ignition suck life out of the battery?

The reason I ask about the steering column is because when I am going at like 40 mps and turn on my directional real fast the speedo drops and goes back up.

It sounds like your battery is kinda bad. Just take it to any auto parts store they'll probably test it for free. Your problem makes it sound like if anything the turn signals drain too much power for your system to handle not that there's a short on the column.
