any header you buy has a (for a lack of a better word) relocating kit in it. Mind (DC) included extended wires for the 02 sensor. As far as a swap goes, I imagine that the 421 and 41 are similar in size, I wouldn't worry about something not fitting. But anyway I don't know what your original question was but I hope I helped you.

He has an Lx with a recent f22a6 engine, hes wondering whether he can now use an Ex header without running into complications such as o2 sensor being too short? I believe

dude, when i got my dc header, it has the o2 bung on the downpipe near the flexpipe......i have a 90 lx, so i just took the o2 sensor and ran it over the back of the trans..........didnt extend anything

interesting, because they gave me an extension for my 92 dx, i ran it back through behind the tranny as well, with the wires and hooked up the o2 sensor. weird.

I didn't need to extend my f22a1 harness for the O2 when I put in the H22 (rear O2). Everything plugged right in.

Well, it might make a difference as far as what o2 you have. I mean, ts certainly possible that my factory one just has a longer pigtail on it.

                        good reason

your probably better of with the ex header. im sure dc sports has the two seperate applications for a reason. we all know the a6 has 15 more hp due to the larger cam and dual runner intake. so i bet the lx header isnt scavenging well. besides if your gonna eventually to some engine work like a mild port job , the ex header will probably promote better airflow. but hey i havent had any motor work done so i one to talk. just thinking though or i could be full of

Don't know about DC coming with any wires... Just recieved my DC Sports header today and it didn't have any wires with it... I also have an LX (F22A1), but ordered an EX (F22A6) header. The tech at work who is going to install it for me tomorrow said he could just cut and splice the O2 sensor wires and make them longer, if needed... So, will he need to or not?

From what others on here have told me, the major differance in the headers on the A1 and A6 is the location of the O2 bung. Everything else should bolt up. The tech at work just explained to me today that there is really no differance in O2 sensors as far as performance and ability to screw into the bung... In fact, he took an O2 sensor he says came off a Mitsubishi, and screwed it part of the way in on my DC Sports bung!
