my car was takein by the cop cuz i didnt have some bulll so any why i go to get it back and my car is f**k up and i need to know wat happen cuz the cuz moves but its like the gear box only goes up and down it does not go to frist or any thing i try to move it and it move up and thats about it i cant go to 2nd gear its like its only on frist so i want to know if i need a new trunny or the cable are fucked up i dont know so i go back the the puond were the car was and they tould me that a cop drove my car to the puond so that fuckin cop fucked up my car thats why cops suck cuz around here were i live if u have a honda cop take it away u stay a night in jail and they go on a ride in ur car and that suck cuz my car got fucked up by them so can any one help me

car was taken away coz i was either driving like an ass, had unpaid tickets, or no insurance/registration papers with me. the NYPD took my car to the pound, and when i picked it up, the tranny wasn't acting right. it won't get out of first, and seems like the tranny cable is messed up. the problem is that when my car was impounded, a NYPD officer drove it to the pound. unfortunately, if you drive a honda in the NYC area, the NYPD will take it away, while you stay overnight in jail as they joyride in your honda. now, can anyone tell me how i can sue the NYPD for damaging my tranny??

easy go and open a claim at the impaund and at the police station. take the car to a mechanic and tell him to give u a writen description of whats wrong with the car and don't drive ur car till this matter is resolved.

it would seem to me that you would have a difficult time proving your case. mechanics are not forensic detectives... who's to say the transmission wasn't messed up in the first place? basically, if it even went to court, you'd have to take it to civil court- preponderance of the evidence. it'd be your word against the cops (have the cop you drove it, and a friend of his/her say it was fine). if you speak like you type, that will make it hard enough.

Do this have 2 witnesses or 3 with you when you go to plea your case. Have each and every witness including yourself dress appropriately and causally no sneakers cacky pants with a shirt and tie no bling jewelry maybe a watch a normal one. With a description of what happened, but you have to think of a couple of good cause and effect excusses like why didnt you have the proper papers for your ride.

You can say you had the papers with you but you couldnt find where they where you had thought you lost them and the actual paperwork slid between the door and the seat out of your pocket because you was so nervous about the officer because you thought you had lost it. Have a lawer present with you stating that you goofed and now it wasnt really your fault but on the other hand you would like to be reinbursed right away with a settlement that will help you get your automobile fixed because ou have no way of getting to work and home little shit like that and thats when you really hit em .

How do you know the cop f'd up the transmission? Its funny how there is always a police conspiracy circulating on this board that deals with a police officer being out to get or destroy a CB7 owner or his car. And you are baseing your comments on just one side of the story and obviously he is pissed about it due to the language and structure of his argument.

As far as the trans...You have to beat on a transmission pretty hard to cause damage like that. A police officer has more to loose if he is caught lieing in court about the incidednt than if he accidently caused damage to the transmission.

Not to start anything here but the cop was the last one seen driving the automobile that says enough . Not everyone drives a car the same for what he knows he could have driven the car into the ground the law doesnt give a shit about anyone else but themselves .


The officer was the last one driving the vehicle therefore he is responsible on the other hand if a police towtruck came and got it while the officer was there it wouldnt have been their fault. You know what im sayin last time i got taken away they left my car there witht he hood unlocked and when they put me in th cruiser this fuckin asian cop got in my car and pulled it to the side after he revved it up he wasnt allowed to do that but he did anyway. And since when do i get to get pulled off the street and put into the back of a police car just for conspiracy of being a streetracer. They so called mistaken me for someone else that im not .
