Im pretty sure Koyo use dual fin design which will cool much better, but it will also hold more coolant, so the full koyo may weigh more than a loaded stocker in the long run. From my experiance the stock cooling system works great even doin 120mph through the dessert ive never overheated.

I believe my Koyo that we weighed was a dual core. Still had plastic caps, but it wasn't just a stock replacement.

But yeah, unless you're doing something that really requires an upgrade, it's not necessary.

I agree with all said. But the race Koyo is shiny.
