    Both fans turn on

    Alright guys and gals,

My 93 EX is not overheating, but both fans kick on when the car needs to be cooled down..

Also, my regular cooling fan turns on not even a second after I turn my car off and stays on for about 10 to 15 minutes sometimes..I realized that I cant turn my car on while the fan is still cooling the car down because it wont let me..I replaced my Main Relay and rewelded the new one and still nothing..

so far ive replaced the sensors that go on the waterneck, thermo housing, and on the head(got code 6 today I believe)..I also changed my fuse box relay...all new sensors and relay..so I changed four things and both fans still kick on..and my regular fan kicks on quick..

I also replaced the thermo with a new one..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

maybe the one on the water neck is a low temp sensor? if it doesnt overheat then there's really no need for the fans to kick on especially only when the car runs off.

i have a low temp switch on the water neck and it switches on whenever i turn the car off until the water reaches 176 degrees. so basically your problem simulates what exactly happens to my car everyday.
