man I will try anything right about now. I know one thing is really obvious about the damn car. when it starts up, the idle jumps up and down like crazy but I cant seem to find any vacuum leak at all after doing base idle. it has to do something with that. According to TypeG, he said a vacuum leak can shut the car off even though I thought it would just run like ass with a leak. I just can't put a finger on it right now. It hasn't cut off since I have re-gapped the spark plugs(knock on wood) But that idle thing is really pissing me off

Okay something happened today that may solve the problem. I hope....
Well after coming home from work and changing clothes to go get something to eat, on the way back the car was running and then when I tried to give it gas, it just bogged until the rpms went to 0. Then went I tried to crank it back up it would fire then when i tried to give it gas, it bogged and then shut off again. Then I try to crank it again, it doesn't fire. So I sat there for about 2 min and cranked it up, gave it gas and bogged again. So at this point I'm like wtf. so I sat for another 2 min and then started it up and it ran fine all the way home.
What is the issue?

yeah I will check that too. I am gonna try to change out the ignition switch based on this thread http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=163769
I tried to look up a video on it from youtube but the guy from cb7tuner just showed how to get the screws to turn. How simple is it?

Just got off the phone with a honda service manager and he says its the ignition switch key cylinder. I asked him was it the wiring harness and he said its highly unlikely. Also he said change the iacv and the fuel relay and do an ECU reset and everything should be fine. Well i will be giving this a shot this weekend and I'll let you know what the outcome is.
