Im saying an electrical problem he doesnt know where its at. And the last thing id hate to have a memeber happen to him is his investment go up in smoke. Fuck throwing money at shit im talkin about protect your investment. Take it to a shop that can diagnose an electrical problem cause thats what it seems like it is. Him trying to look for it and has no experience with wiring diagnostics and troubleshooting fried wires will only complicate the situation.

dude.......settle down......anyhow, hes just gonna have to check all his wiring to between the ignition and the ELD.........shops gonna do the same.....so how else you gonna learn....besides with a swap, not gonna do much good to bring an accord witha lude motor to ma+pa's shop........i say bust out the flashlight and the wiring diagram and track it down yourself........

first off, i did take it to a dealership a few months ago when it started happening. their experts wanted to put the "right wire harness" and the "right ecu" and shit. i kept trying to tell them that they dont know what they are talking about and all this. then after saying that they said they wouldnt work on it cuz it was not stock and wanted to charge me like 80 bucks or some shit like that. i told the service manager that im not paying for that shit and he agreed for me not to pay. just cuz it's a shop that has done swaps doesnt mean they know their shit. i appreciate you trying to look out for me h22sparkle, but theres no way im just going to bring my car to a shop unless i know for a fact that i cant fix it. i'm slowly narrowing in on the problem and was trying to see if anyone has had any similar problems.

Well first off you never ever bring your shit to the stealership that was a big mistake. Secondly you can do it yourself but its easier to take it to a reputable shop yaknow less problems that way i mean a real shop not no halfassed kinda shop that so called knows this and knows that because most of the time they dont. So if you dont know how bro take it to a good shop that within your price range.

i only took my car to the dealership because i was pressed for time, and i figured they would know electrical shit better than anyone else. there is only one shop around me , and im not sure if they know electrical really well. thats my very last option and if they cant fix it, then im out however much they will charge for looking. but now that im slowly figuring out where the problem is, im not about to take it somewhere. thats why im trying to see if anyone has any experience with the eld system. so if anyone has any info about the eld system or othersymptoms or possibilities, i would greatly appreciate it.

I just spouted some stuff from my haynes repair manual, I don't have experience with it personally

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

hey im on the same spot as you mang, im also throwing a code 20 and a code 9. before i changed the dizzy, my car starts up for a minute and just dies den i have to wait couple minutes to start again. and when i changed the new dizzy with a brand new one it ran fine but its still throwing the code 20 and code 9. i havent checked the volts on da eld system or the harness for the dizzy cuz its been raining up here and cold. and i dont wanna drive around with dat CEL on.
but if you find anything bout the code 20 let me know
