Hey guys, I've just got to ask this question that's been nagging me for a while...
Is there ANY way to adjust the point the clutch engages? Even with a brand new clutch (~10k miles) my pedal engages way off the floor (it's done it since the clutch was new, and with the old clutch too).
I've tried adjusting the clutch pedal up or down, but anytime the engagement feels right, the pedal doesn't spring back to resting postition and pops back up when I hit a bump, which drives me nuts.
I've thought about replacing the master/slave, and removing the damper and then running a new stainless steel braided line straight from the master to the slave, but that seems like a lot of work for what may NOT fix my issue.
Anyone have any ideas? This issue makes the car very tough to drive smoothly, because by the time the clutch pedal engages, my foot is at the end of it's motion range and I have to disengage rather rapidly to avoid pain. It's also taking a toll on my motor mounts (lots of load being placed on them from rapid disengagement).
