car doesnt start sometimes?...

like the title says only sometimes its weird
it didnt start doing this til i cut my muffler off
my circumstances are cel codes 41 and 12
which is blocked egr and o2 sensor heater
and my muffler is cut off
only does it when i start it at first all day or after i get gas
it will start and rev up to 1200 and die down
then..i take the key out..and try it again and starts fine

could this be from no backpressure?

you need another o2 sensor and you also need to clean your egr ports and egr valve.

the intermittent starting sounds like a main relay problem though. they are known to act up in hot weather. later.

Might be that some of the egr ports are plugged thus putting in a lot of exhaust gas into 1 or 2 cylinders. Try unplugging your egr sensor and see if your car will start, it will still throw a cel for egr but it will start still even with the O2 sensor cel on it should still start. If it starts no problem then your egr ports need cleaned... That's all I can think of from the info. you gave. Hope this helps.

i cleaned the main port when i blocked it i dont have egr nor a vacuum box
and it does act up when its hot quite possibly that may be it

NOW i think its the fuel pump or relay
every time i get gas i have trouble starting it back up
earlier i couldnt for about 5 minutes

mine did that and it was my main relay..
I would try to start it after i warmed the car up and it wouldnt start..
changed my main relay and that solved it..

Change the main relay, mine used to do the same, common problem. Got one from picknpull for 2.50
