ruber burning smell coming out of the engine bay??

just about a couple weeks after i took out my P/S i start getting this white smoke that kinda smells like ruber burning from the driver side of the engine bay???

i have this same problem but i still have my p/s
maybe u should check if any hoses or belts are rubbing on anything
my car smells like something is burning after i run it for a while
dont know what it is

finally found out what it was im pretty sure it was the ps hose its still leaking abit

I was going to say, perhaps the belt was slipping on the pulley?
