Sure sign of a bad coil/ dizzy???

What is a SURE sign of a BAD coil and or dizzy....
i know my dizzy is bad b\c my RPMs are jumping everywhere, but how do you figure out if you have a bad coil???

Does your car bog or sputter? that could be a sign.

yea a lil bit it does

it jumps, all over the place, an the car spudders i guess when the RPM needle starts jumpin around.

ur amp in the dizzy is probably bad. check ur plugs? ur dizzy cap and rotor?

If your rpm's are all over the place than your dizzy is bad. Well the crank postion sensor is bad ( should be cel9, when it fully goes). This alone will cause your car to bogg. Replace the dizzy first. You might be able to find a canabalised one at the jy and just swap your coil and cap and rotor over and you should be set.

If you were to get on i reccomend one from Advance Auto Parts or better yet oem. I know youl pay 60$ more, but for peace of mind, well worth it. Autozone has given me 3 bad dizzy's in a row before. How I learned my lesson.

I got my problems fixed, thanks to, illwitit247, we traded my aluminum racing rims for a dizzy an coil, put that it, spuddered only a lil at idle.... he checked my plug wires an one was ripped off! like the inside were that lil wire connects to the plug. he hooked me up with a set of wires an no more problems!
