change transmission ?!

I'm looking into changing my transmission from automatic to manual. My Mechanic says its not "too hard" but i just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys think, like would it better my car in the long run ?

All you need to do is plenty of research, plenty of ppl on here have done that swap

it'll be better simply cause its a 5speed.

if your mechanic is doing the job for you there isnt much you need to worry about aside from providing him with all the proper parts. and that will depend entirely on what 5spd you want to use.

You have to do alot of research in order for your swap to be smooth. I did and I really didnt have any problems after 2 years! Oh, I have to replace my shifter cables. Thats the only problem I have encountered after the swap.
