First can you decode what that reads? I'm getting JHMCB75500C203274
Is that correct? Because some of it is hard to see...

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

      That's what I'm getting too.

How about this, patrik.johnson, go run out to your car and write down the VIN number off the dash or door jamb for us.

Well, according to your VIN- your LX is still an LX

According to the following guide your car was built in Japan, is a 2.2L 4door, 5 speed, LX, is of mystery year because a "O" in the 10th position doesn't exist- its skipped to "P" from "N", and was the Sayama Japan factory the built it, and is #203274 built that year.

              EX has:

              PW
              PDL
              Power roof
              Power mirrors
              ABS (92-3, I think)
              Alloy rims (bigger as well)
              nicer interior
              color keyed bumpers, door handles
              better radio/speakers
              Standard AC
Different tranny, not sure about engine...
              Not sure about cruise

Probably some other bells and whistles as well. I forget.

OK thought I'd clarify what he was trying to say..

Alloy Wheels - They had at least 2 if not 5 different variations of the alloy wheel.

Nicer interior- It had cloth seats with the adjustable lumbar support (lower back) alot softer seats than the LX

Better radio and speakers -it had the conventional speakers found on the LX but with the stock stereo it featured an anti theft device that needed a code everytime it was unhooked.

Not sure about the cruise- Cruise was standard on the LX,SE and EX not available on the DX

                      LX VS EX...

The lx has an f22a1 engine. The ex has an f22a4 if it's from 90-91, and an f22a6 if it came from a 92-93.

The LX did not have painted door bumpers or bumper strips on bumpers. LX did have painted bumpers though, the DX does not.

the EX has alloy wheels stock, the LX did not.

Other then that, you could get everything in the LX that you could in the EX really. power windows, power locks, sunroof, crusie control, AC... I know I have power seatbelts in my LX, not sure if EX's had that too..

The EX has little black air skirts on the front and back bumpers whereas the LX does not. The LX's stereo isn't as nice as the EXs and the EX had a sunroof. The seats were different, the engine more powerful. The rear speakers in an EX were larger than the LX. Either model could have a spoiler. EX, 10AE and SE models had 15" alloy rims, but the LX and DX had 14" steelies with plastic wheel covers.

A tipoff from the back of the car is that the EX and SE models had dual tip exhaust, where the 10AE, LX and DX only had a single tip.

EX, SE, 10AE, and Acura Vigor wheels will fit your 14" steelie lugs. So will Acura CL 16" 4 lug wheels. As long as its a 4x114.3 bolt patten it'll fit.

Power seat belts were available in 90-91 only. Airbags were available 92-93.

I'm pretty sure later model ex CB7's (92-93 maybe) had them standard.
