Okay since i installed the delta 272 regrind i've always had a loud ticking noise (valve lash was off i assumed) so i called delta and got their specs for me...
well tonight i changed the valve lash and i now know why they want the idle to be at 1200rpms... it would DIE then come back to life back and forth!!!!!!!! so i changed that and there is absolutely NO TICKING NOISE!!!!
congrats to me! now the scary part!
Okay while i was doing the valve lash i noticed 1 valve lash bolt was missing
so i was like WTF and i looked by the valve spring and there she was, sitting inside the head!!!!!! 
that concluded why my valve noise was soooo extreme before and i'm lucky!!!!
