A while back my key kept getting stuck in the ignition lock. It sometimes would take 5-10 try to finally get it out. I had the lock replaced and every thing was fine. Recently when I go to get out of my car the key sticks again. The car is in park with the E-brake on and I press the brake when exiting. After a couple tries it works again. Has anyone had this problem or know what is wrong?

Did you figure out that you need to push the key in while you turn it off? Also, if that isn't it wiggle the steering wheel while you turn the key. Mine does that every once in a while if you turn the wheel...safety thing I suppose.+ '93 Accord EX - CB7 - Frost White w/ Dark Blue = teh s0ld (ilikebigbutts)

We are starting to see this more and more in the 4Gs... It's usually the Shift Position Switch, located in the center console. The part is about $50 from Honda, and we charge an hour labor to replace it. Symptoms you may notice are that it takes a while for the indicator on the dash to actually acknowledge that the shifter is in park.Visit us at http://www.valleyspecialists.com for all of your Honda and Acura service needs!
