Have you tried using a 6 point socket - I'm assuming you rounded it with a 12point?

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

Craftsman sells a bolt out kit.

You might be able heat the bolt (soften the meatl) and get a 1 size smaller socket on it with the use of a hammer. Worked for me one time.

i had this same thing happen to me but it was on a motor that had been out in the elements under a tarp and the head had lots of problems with it b/c of that

but i couldn't get mine off for the life of me (this is before i had air tools) so i took it to my mechanic and he tries to get it off and ruined his impact socket and tried using another one and the bolt wasn't going anywhere and he ended up having to cut it out with a cutting torch (i believe this was his method by the way it looked)he didn't tell me and i didn't ask all i know was that the head was finally off
i can't find the bolt and the head right now (i think it is at my storage unit) or i would take some pictures of it

dont try the bolt off's, ive broken a snap-on one trying to take the three rounded off head bolts out of a f22. i eventually had to drill the bolts out and the last one use a carbide bit to cut the head off.

Truth. Drill the bolt head off. Have all the other bolts outta the block. Lift the head off and you'll be able to take whats left out by hand, if not, use a vice grip.
Finally Up and Running. Numbers to Follow. Check my MR
