    CV-Joint Tips??

I am doing my CV this weekend and was looking around for any tips or DIY posting but have not come across one. If you know where I can find it or a link that'd be great! I haven't done one before but have worked on my cars for years and don't expect too many suprises. If you know of anything (problems, tricks) I might run into that would be helpful too. NewB poster so be nice

theres some decent posts on this topic....i was going to do my until i learned i would need an impact wrench to get that axle bolt off...search the threads for more help...also i its better to repalce the entire axle if you are fixing the tear....easier install and may last longer...so i read

to save time and money and DOING IT AGAIN IN A FEW MONTHS heheh i just buy the whole new axle.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

          Thx accordztech!
Im gonna replace the whole halfshaft, its the drivers side... after i looked into it some more i realized it would be less work and more effective to do the whole thing than try and rebuild the joint and boot. This forum is great!!

What they've said. Hit it with some penetarting oil the night before. I've heard to do both sides at once even if one is still good. They prolly run $60 a side rebuilt from Pep Boys. Do not even price them at Honda...
