Did a wire tuck no power to certain components

Did a wire tuck on the driverside. Accidentally clipped some wires when cutting the hole. Missed a plug had to extend didn't realize I still had key in ignition and aux power on cut two wires then when I went to go for a drive and I noticed that my clock wasn't working tach wasn't working speedo and Coolant gauge too. Also windows won't roll down I am clueless. I checked fuses they are all good.

re-check all your fuses, under dash and under the hood. there's gotta be a main fuse blown somewhere. Also make sure that the wires you extended for that plug were all hooked up properly and not crossed.

What wires did you cut? Have you checked to see if you are getting power to each of the components? Were they working before the wire tuck?

the wires i cut where for fuel delivery. I will be removing my fender again today i will confirm which wire. The components were working fine before the wire tuck. like i said they worked when i first thought i had everythign connected. Went to start car up and it ran like shit but gauges worked then when i found the plug i missed i had to extend it. But like an idiot i didnt check to make sure key was out and battery disconnected. And when i went to cut the wires. so i finished extending the wire and went to start the car. Took it for a drive and noticed my rpm gauge my speedo, clock, and temp gauge werent working. Which they were working before i cut the wires to extend. But i cant go over 3500rpm due to my full throttle launch system. So i am going to go back and re-re look at all fuses and check my wires.

Just wanted to know if anyone knew what all 4 things had in common such as a fuse or a certain wire.

sounds like you cut either a common ground or common power to the gauge cluster. The key being on shouldnt make a difference and to me is irrelevent of your situation.

The launch control is what throws me off unless you somehow cut the clutch switch wires.

also if your tach isnt working then how do you know you cant go over 3500rpm?

Because my full throttle launch is set at 3500rpm and when I go for a drive when I get to those rpms it goes into full throttle launch and the rpms just bounce can't go past it.

it is physically impossible for your engine to "go into full throttle" because your throttle is cable controlled by you pushing on the pedal. That being said. your launch control is usually (99%) of the time controlled by the clutch switch. you need to verify the wiring to that switch to get rid of that problem. I am willing to bet that the ground for that switch is a part of the same circuit that is causing your gauges to not work.

x2 when i tucked the wires on the passenger side i forgot to connect the main ground that is usually bolted to the side of the fender. i got a slight problem with the light s not working right until i connected it. it should be a ground somewhere.

No. It isnt funny. Happened to me to.

check the Radio fuse under the hood. That same sort of issue happend to me when I worked on my car once. That fuse was blown. give it a shot.
