Misses bad and dies under acceleration

Yes, i have searched, found one thread about an H22 missing and others with no conclusions.

    F22a1:
Where to start. Drove most the way home with no problem, then out nowhere it started missing when i was going up our 12% grade highway in 3rd. Shifted to 4th, still did it. Does it in all gears and misses pretty bad, pretty hard to accelerate. JUST put new plugs in it, went out and still did it, only seems to do it when its warm, starts off farely faint, then gets worse. Car died several times coming home up my dirt road. Idles fine, but when theres a load on the engine, it either starts to sputter/miss or just shuts off. 1st time it didnt want to start back up, finally did and went about 10ft and it died, happened several times.

If i rev it, it starts to miss at around 3500 and up. Only thoughts are mabey the coil. Since ive had the car, ive done an igniter, a dizzy swap, and im on my 2nd coil. (1st one was napa bought, that shit out, put stock one back in). This dosnt seem like something an igniter would do, it shouldnt have restarted it that was the case, and ive never heard of a bad igniter with these symptoms. As for coil, last time it went bad, it shut off, restarted once until i began to accelerate then died and never restarted until i swapped out the napa one with my stock one. I seem to remember just before i swapped my dizzy with another, it would do something like this. Rpm's would sometimes be arratic and would miss under acceleration, but since i swapped the whole dizzy, im not sure what was initially wrong. My best guess at this point is the coil.

    Things to keep in mind:
*Adjustable FPR (set at 50psi thanks to F22Turbo702's best dyno results and personal experiance)
    *Delta 272 cam
    *I/H/E
    *New plugs
    *Newer Bosch wires
    *Cap/rotor are about 6months old
    *91 octane (premium)
    *215,000 miles
    *Drive 500+ miles a week
*Idles fine, misses under acceleration when warm, and sometimes shuts off

ive had that exact syptom with a bad ignitor. it would miss hard and the tach would jump all over the place above 4k. i was also getting 10mpg.

another symptom would be the ignition would just shut off. luckily all of the times it has shut off on me (three times) i was able to coast and pull over.

doesnt seem like fuel as it would kinda stutter and shut off, not like an ignition kill type of shut off. put a spark plug tester and confirm that it is a spark issue. you should check the diagnostic sticky in either beginner's tech or regular tech. i also have the honda ignition diagnostics in front of me if you need help.
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

FIXED! Damn you wed3k for being so smart. Makes sense though, usually the igniter just stops working when hot, like my old crappy one did, but this one didnt like a load going threw it i guess. Igniter's, main relays and coils... Gotta love em. luckily i cary spares.

haha, i actually have my old dizzy in my trunk still, havnt taken it out. After replacing my distributer, igniter, coil and main relay ATLEAST once, i learned to always keep spares. I have a little ziplock bag with the goodies inside, putting 44,000+ miles on a CB7 in less than two years teaches ya a thing or two. Thanks wed, this thread shall be added to the list to help others in the future.
