    speedo + code 21 ((???Related???))

I have a h23a doch vtec (true blue top/not a head swap) motor is an obd2 but has been converted to work with my obd1 ecu
I have a chipped ecu, I got that 2-step launch control program on the chip (rev limits at 4k when speedo read 0mph)

    Here's my symptoms:
    1) My speedo doesn't work properly. It usually stays down to 0 but occasionally it hovers around 10mph when i'm on the free way or gunning it.

(When speedo is at 0 I can't rev past 4k, when it does hover up at 10mph I can rev past 4k probably due to my stupid 2-step launch program However I have heard people say when there's something wrong with vtec the ecu can limit the rev and possibly the speedo too)

    2) I'm throwing a code 21 (VTEC spool solenoid valve)

(I Don't know if these are related)

Here's what i can give you so you can help me:
speedo worked before I did the swap. after swap I test drove it and the arm that sticks out the vss to mount on the tranny broke...so I went to the jy to get another one. but I just put my top electronic part on the vss on the bottom part of the jy vss. After installing it my speedo wasn't working

things that confuses me is I used three vss's already and NOTHING so I know it's not that (I have a brand new one on). I have a wire tuck so I thought maybe there was a brake in the wires from the vss to the ecu so I used three wires to wire the vss directly to power, ground and to the ecu. still nothing.

I've had people tell me to wire it directly to underneath the dash but I want to make sure I don't Have to do that.

I have also heard of people say that my code 21 code could have something to do with the speedo. Since I used three vss's and it hovers at 10mph sometime I wonder if maybe I figure the cure for code 21 everything will act normal()

For whatever reason, the guy who did my swap grounded my Vtec pressure switch. I though it was soppuse to go to Pin D6 on the ecu...THIS is what mainly made me make this thread. I stared and stared and this pressure switch being wired to ground and just bugs me. I wonder since its an obd2 maybe it needs to be grounded? maybe something slipped his mind and didn't mean to wire it to ground, that maybe it does need to go to my ecu? I HAVE NO CLUE!
(I wonder if I wire this to in D6 my speedometer will work and code 21 will disappear and everything will be normal<<<correct me is I'm wrong but I have high hopes loll)

thax an advance for everyone that helps. I know I have made a post months ago but I figured I'd make another one a little more detailed. plus new things have came up so I hope this helps lol like the hovering part. again thax an advanced

Hell naw I haven't even bothered with it to be honest. however, I'm thinking of taking it to this one place and just getting a quote. I hate how most shops just give you an hourly rate.

Yeah I know it's not the harness because I wires three separate wires to ground, power and to the ecu and still nothing. plus it occasionally hovers around 10mph like I mentioned above so I know there's continuity between the sensor and the ecu.

tomorrow I'm going to look under my dash and see anything out of the ordinary...maybe a wire out of place or something to make sure I'm getting good feed between my ecu and speedo. I'll keep you posted,
