The F22Ax and F22Bx had different flexplates and torque converters for autos
If you are using an F22Bx and you want to run an F22Ax tranny you need to pull off the F22Ax flexplate from the motor and bolt it to the F22Bx motor...tranny bolts up the same.

The reason they used different parts is for ease of timeing.
OBD1 engines such as F22AX...H22A/1 had the timeing marks on flywheel (Hence larger torque converter, so the timing marks on engine block can be used for either)
OBD2 F22BX, H22A4 had timeing marks on the Crank Pulley, so it didnt matter.
They could save money and downsize parts.

Also all 90-91 had sport shift...sport shift is in the computer. The tranny doesnt care it just takes what the computer gives it.

Just use a TCU that goes to your year pattern...90-91 or 92-97
90-91 is wired differently than ALL the rest. Other than that you can use 92-97 tcu's (96-97 Accords had a "Rigged" ECU that made it OBD2 compliant, however TCU's remained the same.)

                If you have a 92-93 I have a P09 TCU that shifts at 7300
                Might part with it...
