Do I need a NEW CLUTCH or wha???

Hey I was juss curious if anyone out there can help me out. My clutch seems to grab on the end of the pedal (the bottom near the metal floor). Do I need a new clutch or do I need to re-adjust the pedal? It felt like this for a couple days. Days after, I started and then I couldnt shift into gear for shit. I found out I had no fluid in my clutch resivoir so I put dot 3 fluid. I can now shift again. Problem is...It still feels the same...grabs at the bottom end. VERY hard to control. Did I kill my clutch or was it killed anyway? Im confused. If I need a new clutch...which one would you recommend?

You may have gotten air into your system when you ran out of fluid. Try bleeding it out. It could also be your clutch master cylinder, or slave cylinder.....

As the other poster said, you need to bleed your clutch. IIRC, the bleed bolt on the slave cylinder is 8mm. Bleeding the clutch is easier than changing the oil, by far, unless of course you don't have someone to help you!

Your symptoms sound just like what happened the time I let my clutch reservoir drain completely and start sucking air. Kept acting funny until it was bled. Would hardly shift into gear and all that. Mine has been leaking for about 2 years now, but it hasn't yet accelerated to enough of a leak for me to care.
