When my car is in neutral and i press the brakes and the brake lights come on, my idle drops big time and the same happens when I open or close the elec. window. This also happens at a red light in drive. And let me not even mention the A/C! lets just say its just as bad. Could this be the alternator?

sounds like it to me.. you're not pullin enough amps out of your alternator anymore.. dimmer headlights at night too? replace it..--JDM F22A--

wouldn't know about the lights, i have a hid retro. i'm going to check with the parts store and see if they can check it.

what could be easier, they can check if the system is charging normally with the alternator still on the car. if it comes back bad, then take it out and have them test it again or just get a new alternator.
