what are all the tools needed for removing and installing a new clutch kit ?
From my experience 2 months ago, from most important tools to least important....
Friend who can bench press 225lb. a or transmission/ motorcycle jack for putting the tranny back up and in.
12 point metric sockets for pressureplate/ flywheel bolt.
Pulley pullers for breaking the lower ball joints so you can swing and pull the axles out of the way.
A big breaker bar or screwdriver to lock the flywheel in place while your removing bolts.
I know I am forgetting stuff. But 2 guys can do it with hand tools, I had to set aside 3 days cause I'm slow. Take lots of pictures and use a hanes manual.
1- 3 ton hydrolic jack not the bullshit one to just change tires i mean a nice heavty one.
2-1wratchet wrench set or air tools which make things easier
3- 2 proper jack stands to hold the car up after its jacked for safety
4- another heavty jack to balance the weight of the motor and the jack so that 2 jacks .1 to hold the motor and lift its weights off the chasis of the car to allow clearance and the other to hold the jack in place from falling so it just lowers out properly.
On the rear engine mount, all but one bolt goes into the transmission hausing and you'll have to remove them. However, one bolt goes into just the block and you can leave this one in, actually make sure it's very tight. This way you can let the weight of the engine remain on this mount and the front mount and you don't need a jack under there in your way.
Make sure you have the appropriate clutch alignment tool (spline) for the job. Torque wrench for flyweel to crank screws and the pressure plate screws.

I'll second PROPER torquing of the flywheel and pressure plate bolts and add to PLEASE use blue or red thread locker on the flywheel bolts!
