    Car wants to Drive itself

91 LX auto short ram intake

Ok just had my fuel pump replaced and the mechanic reconnected the fuel pump wires to the main relay since someone had the fuel pump tied into the fuse box. No here is the problem when the car starts it jumps to 3000rpms down to 800 then up again. When in gear it goes with out me touching the gas even after warming up it will still want to go but it will be at 2000. What causes this?

It has had a complete tune up 3 months ago, fuel system cleaned out a year ago. All filters including pcv changed with tune up. Any help is much appreciated.

like an idle surge. i had one and hondafan81 fixed it for me at a recent meet. he unplugged he iacv and adjusted the idle screw because it was backed all the way out.
