No CEL, No Power to ECU/TCU??

Like title states, I turn key on I get every normal light except the CEL.
My Sport Shift light flickers once and the shift lock clicks once. (the shift lights work though)
I cant shift it out of Park, the shift lock wont disengage.
I cant get the sport shift to come on.
    Fuel pump doesnt kick on.
Everything else works except above stated.
I can get the car to turn over (starter spins)
I changed the main relay twice. Nothing has changed.
Oh and the lights on the ECU/TCU dont light up either (90/91)

Where else should I be looking?

I forgot to state all fuses are intact
This is a real brain smoker.
I guess I'm going to trace the main relay plug and see if im getting any power from there.

it sounds dumb but check ur connections at the battery. Take it off and put it back on to be sure sometimes you dont notice but they arent on.

main relay plug wouldnt account for the check engine light not comming on. You should listen for a click when the fuel pump turns off.

can you run ecu diags? Check the ground under the thermostat, tahts the ecu ground.

but run ECU diags and see if the CEL even comes on.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Oh the thermostat grounds the ECU?!?!
The engine wireing is totally disconnected lol!
Damn Ill get right on that and check back.

All I get right now is like a triple click I hear from under the dash and no fuel pump turning on.
I just didnt think the T-stat ground was that important for the ECU.

                  Its fixed!!!
Thanks alot man I would've been ripping out the dash and crap!!

But now I get a Solid CEL?
Or should I just put the entire engine together first?

At the moment it has no head....lol
I'm putting the head on it tomarrow and I was trying to get ahead of myself by testing things out....
If the gas tank is gummed up would the fuel pump work still you think?
Right now the gas tank has about a gallon of B12 just chillin in it....

fuel pump will still work, but how long has the fuel been sitting there?

jsut suck it out of there and put fresh fuel in.

get stuff done before moving on.

I got it pretty much done, I found I had to have the injectors plugged in for the fuel pump to work.
Now with the entire engine put together minus a timing belt the CEL works like it should.
I put a new fuel filter....the old one was very heavy and smelled like terpintine
But the fuel pump kicked on and B12/gas went all over the ground...
I put the fuel system back together and I've cycled the key a few times to build pressure and circulate gas. So far so good!
Next comes the timing belt and some oil, then coolant and I should be able to finally start her!
Finally after 10 years she'll breath again!
I guess this is the end of this thread lol
