threads stripped in block - what do i do?

so i bought this car with a popped headgasket. i take it apart and i notice

that most of the head bolts are not as tight as they should be. now i go to

put it all back together and the head studs wont tighten up at all. the

threads are stripped so what can i do with this???

re thread the head and get new head bolts that will fit the new threading
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

if they are stripped, re-threading wouldnt do anything. you'll need a time-sert but for aluminum.
