bolt size for setting a h22a on engine stand?

hi folks, i just bought an engine stand for my h, does anyone know the size of the bolts that secures the tranny to the engine?
    any help would ggerrrate
im assuming the bolts that will hook the tranny to the motor will work on securing the engine to the stand

Take one of the bolts out of your trans, take it down and find one like it. But, you'll need to get it a couple inches longer to compensate for the engine stand.

You are going to need M12X1.25 bolts that are the proper length, these have a 17mm head on them.

^ He is correct. You will have a hard time finding this size at typical hardware stores (still try), as 1.25 pitch is very fine for 12mm diameter. I found mine at a lumberyard/hardware store, but failed at various common hardware stores and automotive parts stores (Ace, Aco, Advanced Auto, etc).

You can always resort to a specialized place (Fastenal, etc), if you have time on your hands or online fastener sites.

I would just go to a JY and grab the longest tranny bolts you can x6. That would probably be the cheapest method, unless you want to pay 8 bucks a bolt.
