1k-3k idle problem. help

okay so im driving along and come to a stop light and al of a sudden my car revs up to 3000 rpm and then back down to about 1000 what the hell happend? it just keeps doing it over and over please help me i have to drive it in the morning.

well its not avacuum leak that was the first thing i checked so idk what else

change out your egr and clean out the ports on your intake manifold. go to honda and get 4-6 plugs depending on how many u have they are only like 0.35 cents a piece so ull walk out of honda with out spending more than 3$ and the procedure takes less than 2 hours at most. its very simple and easy to do. but change out your egr 1st. this is a chronic problem for some people. we swapped a jdm h22a in a friends cb7 and he still had the issue.

well i know my egr is bad cuz a little while ago my cel came on and its the egr valve and i already drilled and tapped the intake mani for easyer cleaning so ill clean them again and get a new egr valve today. thanks guys

just cleaned the egr ports and the egr valve. its still doin the same damn thing i guess i have to go spend $140 on new fuckin egr valve ugh i have a feeling that wont fix it.

okay update ... got a new egr valve and swapped the iacv and nothing changed!!!!! WTF!!!!

maybe is the other sensor the one right on the side of the intake plenum
