well ur 92 lx doesnt have an h22. if it did we would all be real happy people. it has either the f22a1 or the f22a4. i have an ex so im not sure but i think its the f22a4 and the dx has the f22a1. someone correct that if im wrong. the ex's have the f22a6's. and the prelude's are the ones that come with the h22a's depending on the year. i think like 94 and up or 96 and up had them or something like that.

Welcome to the site. There's quite a few ppl here from the Dallas area. Be sure to also check out Dallas Imports. They're local and a lot of fun. So far the only other CB7tuner member there is MXCX. The more CB7s the better.Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White

Welcome aboard,
as everyone else has already told you, it is the f22a1 motor which puts out 125 hp to the crank.
The h22 is the prelude VTEC trim motor, which puts out between 190 and 200 hp depending upon who you ask. It's a very popular swap into these cars as its practically a bolt-in ordeal.
Good luck

I think the '92 Prelud is only 135 hp, but I know the '93 2.2 DOHC Prelude is rated at 190 hp. I did a little research here at school using Snap-On Shop Key, a computer system with a wealth of info on practicly any car you want to know about... from specs to repair procedures. Shop Key is awsome!!!Nova: A star that suddenly increases it's light output tremendously and then fades away to its former obscurity in a few months or years.

Need to correct myself... The '92 2.2 has 132 stock hp, and the '92 2.3 has 138 stock hp. There. Now that I'm straight on that I feel much better!Nova: A star that suddenly increases it's light output tremendously and then fades away to its former obscurity in a few months or years.
