isn't there some sort of book that tells you the proper weight...some kind of manual for owners that lists these sort of things...normally kept in the glove box...written by honda?

Or you could just go to honda and get the good stuff that has been said by members (including me) to reduce 3rd gear grinding vs gear oil/motor oil.

Yeah just get the weight that it originally came with and use Honda trans. Fluid.

Yeah I would stick to Honda tranny fluid. Same goes for your power steering. I use nothing but Honda power steering fluid.

yes get honda fluid only...search the boards...the part number for the new and improved stuff is given. Order from majestic...my local dealer charges out the ass for EVERYTHING...your dealer prolly will too.

What I meant was, if you don't use honda's new fluid (which has improved 3rd gear shifts) then read the owners manual and find out what viscosity to use.
