So this past week I got up to go to work. While on I-95 I noticed my temp gauge was hot past the "H". My fans didn't kick in at all.
After work I Jumped on the forums and tried a few things.
Car History: When I got it both cooling worked the passenger side fan stopped after a while. Driver still worked.
I tested both fans they both worked. I figured this was just an issue with the ECT sensor and/or thermostat so I swapped them with new ones.
Look in the fuse box in the engine compartment and put a new coolant fan fuse in and swapped the relay for the cooling fan (mitsuba) with one for power windows. Windows work better now.
Now the driver side fan doesn't come on the one on the passenger side does. Also when I started the car this morning the temp shot up. Turned her off and started back up the temp gauge was functioning normally.
So I'm starting to think this is a timing issue but why wouldn't the fans be working properly if the motors are good on both sides.
