A timing belt and valves can be done easily. It's not as hard as you think man. You can do it. Like someone else said, grill some food and buy a couple of cases of beer and she'll be running before you know it. When you go to do it though you might as well replace a few things. Money is a variable of course but while you have everything torn apart if you can afford it then putting better springs in it and maybe a different cam would never hurt.
