Rear Window Won't Go Up

Ok, so just now, my back left Window will not go back up. I noticed before it decided to fuck up on me, was that when I rolled it down, it made this noise. Didn't think anything of it.

Went to go wash my car, and rolled up my windows and it didn't roll up. It started to go up, then just stopped. Rolled it back down, and now it won't go up at all.

Any ideas? I need this fixed ASAP.

You could always take the door panel off, undo the window to where it will go up by hand, and then put some wire on it to hold it shut until you can replace the motor/regulator assembly.

yup - your window regulator balled up on you, prolly had the plastic "pulley/bushing" that the regulator cables travel through fall apart.

The sound you heard when you lowered it was the cable being pulled across the metal (while the lift cable went slack and tangled itself up) then when you tried to raise it up, the lift cable balled itself up even worse.

If you do happen to get the window up again - through force or luck, you probably won't be able to lower it again, you'll have a ton of fun trying to reach the attachment bolts that connect the window to the moving portion of the regulator because the window needs to be down to get at them. Otherwise, you'll need to reach through the sill gap at the top to reach them (you need tiny hands).

This happened to me on Saturday, 'cept I heard a nasty pop. Afterwards, moving the glass up and down, I could hear the cables dangling around. I already ordered my Regulator from the Honda eStore, this will be my third rodeo so I don't even need to go inside the door to inspect things, I recongnize the sounds. Because of the holiday, your order may not go out until Wednesday, check with your local Honda stealership.

I took wire cutters and cut the cable on one that I was having problems with before. After that it would move. I unscrewed one of the bolts that hold the window in the plastic piece on the bottom, wrapped some wire around it and tightened it back. Then take the wire and run it up through the door where the window would come out. Then slide the window all of the way up, have someone hold it there, and loosen a bolt on the door and wrap the wire around it and tighten it back and you're done. It's not going to go up and down anymore but it won't let water in.

Go to the pick N pull to get it. I just got a window regulator w/ motor and track assembly for 15 bucks for my sister's 95 Camry. Today was half off day since it was labor day. She just bought this car and I came to find out that the pass. window which wasn't working, was held up in place w/ a block of wood and 3 phillips head screws lol. So you could always try that in case you can't get it ASAP haha.

Me and a buddy took the panel off, and we got it up by pushing up on it. Funny thing is, it rolls up and down now, however, I don't wanna risk it by rolling it all the way down again.

Both my back windows have BEEN doing this for years. Im almost certain ive replaced one or both and they still wont move right. I even spent a whole day lubing the tracks and everything.
