Honda Push Start

Back in 2000, when I had my 1986 Honda Accord LX (5 spd), the battery went dead and I hadn't the money for a new one. For about 2 months, I had the push start feature on my car until I bought a battery.

oo ha yes i do i just slpied mine in to the starter and a 12 volt. but it would only turn over and not start unless the key is on the run pesstion

i think im going to put a push button start on mine, ive been looking around at some different ones. I think it would be neat.

had one on my old integra...the ignite brand shit...had the start button and then 2 other ones...i set them up for my amp and other stuff...plan on doing it to my cb...but this time im hiding it in my glove box or somthing lol

I am thinking about ditching the OEM ignition switch/steering wheel lock and having an ignition toggle switch right on the dash and an engine star button next to it. I guess all I need is a beefy toggle switch.

i think there is a DIY somewhere...i don't remember if it was on here or another forum...might've been CD5tuner. i forgot but i've seen it somewhere.
