You can either make your own spacer, or just leave those in place.

there is a kit but it's for removing the shafts and not just cutting the belts. Which you can leave it with just the belts cut...but that kit will do what you're looking for. I don't think it's all that cheap though. avoid knockoffs

Kinda hard to fuck up plugs....

You can piece your own kit together for under $30.

If you remove the balance shaft belt, just leave the crankshaft balance shaft gear in place. Also, leave the front balance shaft pulley, rear balance shaft gear and balance shaft tensioner pulley in place so that your timing belt components all assembly correctly.

Even with the balance shaft belt delete kit, you still retain the components, but a few get eliminated for a cleaner or to simply plug exposed holes. You have a plug for the front balance shaft hole in the oil pump and flat cover for the rear balance shaft area. You still retain the balance shaft tensioner pulley. They provide you with a spacer that replaces the crankshaft balance shaft pulley. There are also plugs that going within the main girdle and block to help increase oil pressure that is lost, those are the importance pieces that differentiate both of these methodologies. However, when you retain the balance shaft belts in place, no need to worry.

Really I thought that when the belt is removed you gain oil pressure and whp. Thanks for the heads up though. Anymore inputs would be nice.

No increase in oil pressure that I know of. You gain some parasitic loss of power due to turning the balance shafts. I like the smoothness you gain at the higher RPMs and the decrease in maintenance (replacement of: front balance shaft seal, balance shaft belt, rear balance shaft cover O-ring, balance shaft tensioner pulley, etc).

Your oil pump has a pressure relief valve, so no matter what you do, the valve controls pressure. You will have more flow to other components, but not more pressure

By removing the belt you'll relieve stress on rotating assy, so you could say more hp, but since you aint plugging the girdle oil still goes through them

                hope that helps

So is have lower pressure bad since I have an f22b1, or would it even affect vtec.

So basically, what you're saying is that vtec will still engage correct.

doesn't either the oil volume or pressure get altered when you remove the shafts and install a shaft delete kit?

i'm interested to know how is it running? vtec working?
is there a vtec oil pressure switch on a f22b1?

i was able to by pass it on a h22 recently and vtec was working again

I took my balancer belt off
It vibrates quite a bit, but I've gotten used to it.
Although the engine sounds cleaner at high RPM's
