Anyway to make a 96 ECU work on our cars?

Before you say NO!, Its the P12 ECU that's proven to give 10hp on our F22A1/A4 engines in OBD1 trim. But I just found out its from a 96, so the plugs are diff. Should I just junk this now? or is it possible for it to work in the CB7 via a conversion harness?

Its still an OBD 1 ECU
It was a transission ECU, in which the plugs were re-worked to the new OBD2 format.
Someone would have to either make a harness or re-wire their car.
