I need a Diy For a window motor/regulator replacement
if you need to just try and remember how it goes back together is how i did it and always ALWAYS make sure u have lined it up correctly or u will b spending an ass load of time wasted by adjusting it and oh one more thing while ur at it check your run channels (rubber seals) to see for any cracks or tears.
Yeah. Took me like 3 hours the first time to do it... Not because it's hard, but because I was being REALLY careful... Just watch the glass and you'll be good.
And if you haven't gotten the new regulator yet, BUY A TRUE OEM REGULATOR!!! I got my driver's side from 1aauto.com, and it doesn't fit right... it's a pain in the ass, and embarrassing at the gas station.
Have a magnetic screwdriver handy too... Dropping the screws inside the door can be a bitch. And you probably will drop one or two down there.
Just look at the regulator, understand how it works (chilton's or haynes help a little) and just match it up with the holes. Which one is it? Rear is easier...
