Yeah, there is an input and output line that goes through the speed sensor that tells the p/s to quit working at a certain speed.

Thats interesting. So would you just block them off at the sensor?

i just looped mine from one to the other, using the smallest hose that was already on it.

i didnt even block them off, just disconnected the hoses. when i did this, i actually fixed the speedometer, lol

my speedometer will work as long as the electrical connector is plugged in, right.

Sorry for all the questions, as soon as i get it running, and know everything i did was right, i can do it all again and without a manual or help from everyone, so i wont bother you as much. Anyway, still didn't get my fuel rail on because i didn't get the small o rings on the top of the injectors ordered, would you wait on new ones on or just put them back in.

nah, wait on the new ones and make sure you lube the seals. ive gone through two sets because i didnt lubricate them prior to installation.

you can tear it down if you want but i wouldnt waste my time.

lube them with grease or oil or something, and those rings are the only ones i should replace, right.

                    tear what down?

I just mean i could tear it down if anything ever busted or something, not just rebuild it to do it, just mean i would have the experience to do so.

Since your a machinist, when you buy pistons which are .50 mm over, what do you usually bore the block at since no, or most machine shop usually dont have a metric size boring machine.

it doesnt matter. we remeasure the piston in standard and hone the pistons to that size + clearance.

i usually bore to .004 till desired clreance.

for example, im doing a vitara setup in a D15. piston size is 2.9686

i bored to piston size and am giving it .0035 clearance via hone. standard or metric doesnt matter, we just remeasure and convert it to standard.

Well its to late now if its wrong, but we have a very reputable machine shop called cornetts, and cornetts racing engines and i hope they did it right, but when i took him my block, he said that .020in is the same as .50mm, and i know its close, but not the same, he had my pistons for measurement, so i hope they did it right, little late now if not. Its kinda had me worried for some time.

I guess that would be .0197, very close to .020
