    loss if compression?

i havent actually checked the compression yet, cuz i dont have the tools. but i think its gone down cuz my car runs slow and sluggish. this happened soon after i swapped the head. i have a f22a1 with a6 complete head and intake mani. but i have to add that when i did it i was being cheap so i reused the same head gasket with plenty of gasket sealant. the car doenst leak/burn nothing at all. so is it just the head gasket then? how can this affect compression?

was the head looked through or rebuilt?

if it has been overheated, you'll lose compression (if warped) between 2 and 3 cylinders and will not consume any fluids which will be very decieving.
