Yeah, I could do all of that but honestly I don't really want the car anymore. I just wanna fix it, make sure it is working properly and sell it. If I must drive a honda I am going to have to be in something a little bit more sporty...I'm thinkin 95 Civic coupe :-P

LOL no offense. I just don't want to build a 4 door, and I'm just not too fond of the body lines of the accord. Not to say they are bad cars because this car has my respect.

No question is too basic doode .. and what 91AccordLX says is true ...one a the ways you can know for sure
.. is to remove your oil cap .. (if yr not alone) have a friend turn over the motor ..
if you dont see anything *spinning* in there ...you've snapped the belt ..and the motor will *not* turn over at all..
                  so .. tow time.

Also mentioned in another *I'm so screwed* I snapped my t-belt *thread* JohnnyB ..
by 91AccordLX .. is the fact that you really need to change the water pump as well.
Also... change *all* your belts ..
and wow 91 LX .. lol I feel alot better about paying 350 bucks for *my* t-belt at the shop.
Course, that was about 5 years ago .. annnd I've added the new motor since ... but
I was fortunate in that, I never *bent* anything ..

                  A Hui Hou !!!

mentioned in another thread, to change the water pump ..I didnt see it mentioned in *this* thread ..
soooooo thought I'd mention, that *you* mentioned .. ya know?
you still with me here ?? anyways ..
no put down at all .. if I dont have anything nice to say .. I hardly ever say anything at all ..

If it makes you feel any better, my timing belt snapped too.

I pulled the head off my F22 couple days back, and boy is that motor fubared! all the valves are burnt, and the exhaust valves are bent. The pistons are burnt and are all scared from where the valves hit. Boy am I glad i bought my H22 when i did...

I'm having the hardest time getting the large bolt at the end of the crankshaft off, so i can remove the pulley. I can't seem to find a place to wedge a screwdriver into the flywheel so it doesn't turn. Am i looking in the wrong places or is there an alternative?
