got my first cel, how do i fix it :)

Ok peeps I got cel, code 51 which is Primary Oxygen Sensor Heater- Circiut malfunction. what can I do to fix this myself ?

it may be that you need another sensor then reset the code by disconnecting the negative side the the battery and disconnecting the 10amp ecu fuse under the hood

ok, new sensor but ..

sometimes it doesnt even come on, the cel that is. I would start the car and minutes later the cel comes on but sometimes i would drive a lot longer and no cel :S where is this sensor maybe it disconnected or something .. a pic would help so i can move it around or something! i also try reseting the ecu but the cel comes back again. thanks for the input h22sparkle~!

if u look under the car youll see at the header just at the very top on the flexpipe youll see it
