    Accord Hesitation

    My daily driver is a 92 Accord LX. It has been having problems with a slight miss from take off (its an automatic). Once the engine reaches 2500 - 3000rpm the miss stops. So, I have taken the intake manifold off, and had it hot tanked and cleaned. I have replaced the EGR, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires etc... When i unplug the vacum hose that connects to the EGR, the car runs perfectly (with the check engine light of course). So, i am guessing it is something relating to the EGR system. With the EGR brand new, and the intake cleaned out i am stummped. What else is involved in the EGR system?? My next try is going to be the oxygen sensor, or catalytic convertor. Anyone have any sugestions. Thanks

    This one is an F series. F22a6 EX motor, with LX intake manifold (didn't have the A6 manifold).

      Hey H22ACCORD I have a 91 Honda accord with the same problems. I just took it to Honda and the ran a diagnostic test and found that the oxygen sensor was bad. I am going to have it replace soon I hope.

            honda charges nothing to tell you whats wrong as long as they are the ones to fix it..... if they tell you whats wrong and you fix it yourself they charge $80........ atleast thats from my own experience........-justin-

              well screw that then...i wouldnt let honda touch my car, most of those people dont know what to do..or it seems like that anyway..all big dealers lie to you just do they can get more money! it pisses me off
